Premium Soft Armor Design
Soft body armor design is continuously changing due to the development of firearms, ballistic materials and technology. While we, at Pinnacle Services, do not manufacture soft body armor, our team specializes in armor design, through research, and development. Our focus is to continually create soft body armor solutions that exceeds National Institute of Justice (NIJ) standards and expectations, that is unique to the final user, and provides the highest level of protection to military, law enforcement, and other specialist personnel. To help develop your product efficiently and economically, we work with a variety of fibers, weavers, and if needed, manufacturers.
Goals and Expectations
At Pinnacle Services we are dedicated to developing innovative armor designs that keep men and women, mothers and fathers, sons and daughters safe. Once our team establishes your overall goals, we are able to collaborate to create a test sample of your new soft body armor prototype. Pinnacle Services has access to one of the largest data base of material baselines in the world. We are able to develop new armor that meets your goals in the marketplace and specific safety requirements. Designs may have a variety of materials incorporated into the design to help protect against blunt trauma caused by the force of a bullet, stab penetration by a knife, fragmentation, contact shots, and special threats.
Exceeding NIJ Standards
By using our ballistic armor design services, we are able to conduct thorough testing requirements before a large quantity of soft body armor is manufactured. Once the body armor has been tested, we are able to analyze the results to adjust or finalize any designs changes. This allows our clients to keep overall production costs low, due to the small amount of total products developed.
We use the latest body armor technology to create a world-class ballistic protection program. Materials used for soft armor design include a variety of tensile strong, tear-resistant, light fibers that when weaved together correctly, create the ultimate body armor. Some of the materials used include:
- Uni Directionals
- Hyosung Uni Directionals
We highly recommend that you have the final equipment assessed at our independent ballistics testing laboratory to help reduce research and development costs, certification costs, and production costs and to help ensure that the product passes NIJ requirements.
